Learn from Stanford’s Best.

We guide students through the Design Thinking process – Stanford’s human-centered approach to foresight and innovation. This problem-solving framework has birthed many of the world’s most impactful companies, like Apple, Snapchat, & Nike!

At Immersion, students run through a number of concrete steps to breathe life into their startups: user-centric research, collaborative brainstorming, and rapid prototyping, among others. Students leave with an investor-ready pitch deck, a Design Thinking certificate, and a meaningful project they can pursue. But that’s not all they leave with…

Launching a startup is important, but Design Thinking can teach us so much more. Stanford’s Graduate School of Education has shown Design Thinking training boosts creativity, comfort grappling with complexity, and school performance.

At Immersion, students work in a small team of their peers and are given the opportunity to lead. They practice their social-emotional skills: public speaking, teamwork, and self-awareness. Students receive feedback from our team of experienced entrepreneurs and leaders. And our team is world-class…

Our energetic, project-based courses are led by Stanford alumni, who have raised money for their startups, made $100,000s in revenue, and led teams of 30+. They share the secrets, stories, and strategies behind Silicon Valley’s standout companies – and offer the tools to one day build them. We also bring in successful founders and Silicon Valley investors to speak to our students.

Ultimately, Immersion is a mission-driven company. As students, we saw the value of Design Thinking in our own life; and we want to share those lessons and skills with the next generation of change-makers.
